The most anticipated tech event of the year is rapidly approaching. The 2013 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will be held June 10-14 at Moscone West in San Francisco.
Tickets went on sale April 25 and sold out in less than two minutes, beating last year’s record when the event sold out in just two hours. At WWDC, around 5,000 developers from around the world come together to attend information sessions led by Apple engineers and connect with fellow developers.
Buzz has been generating for weeks about what Apple will reveal at this year’s conference. Attendees are likely to preview updates of OS X and iOS operating systems, but the question on everyone’s mind is will they get a sneak peak at the much-awaited iOS7?

PeachMac first opened its doors in May of 2007 with its flagship store in Athens, GA. Six years later, PeachMac has twelve stores scattered across the southeast: eight stores in Georgia, two stores in Florida, one store in Alabama, and one store in Virginia.
It has been a pleasure to serve these twelve markets, and we are eternally grateful for all of our loyal customers. We have enjoyed these first six years and look forward to many, many more!

On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, a huge Apple milestone was reached. The 50 billionth app was downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Over the past couple of weeks, you may have noticed the countdown tracker on the Apple homepage showing the tally of how many apps were being downloaded from the Apple App store. The person to download the 50 billionth app received a $10,000 App Store gift card.
The App Store has quickly gained in popularity since its launch in 2008. It has surpassed the Google Play store, which has received around 48 billion downloads. In just a short span of 14 months, App Store downloads doubled from 25 billion to 50 billion. It is now projected to be on track to receive more than 20 billion downloads per year.
To say the least, we sure love our apps!
